We are pleased to present you the group exhibition L I Q U I D, including a selection of twenty unique works by four contemporary Scandinavian artists and one French photographer. This exhibition is exploring and comparing liquid esthetics in such different works and mediums as the hand-blown glass sculptures by Tora Urup and Mikko Paakkanen, the Water Mirror jacquard tapestries by Grethe Soerensen, the Growth bronze sculpture by Mathias Bengtsson and the Fluid Form photographs by Rodolphe Proverbio. Is it possible to speak of a single esthetic of liquids, articulated through different artistic temperaments? Or are the artworks equally formed by specific materials and techniques and their inherent possibilities, opening up for a multitude of fluid esthetics in contemporary Arts & Crafts?
